About Us

Located right next to Madarao Mountain Resort, Annex Aburaya boasts a hot public bath, rooms with loft space, free Wi-Fi and a free to use washing machine. Aburaya offers Western rooms with loft spaces, beds and a TV. Japanese-style rooms come with tatami mat flooring and traditional futon bedding. All rooms have air conditioning, heating and an attached toilet, while bathing facilities are shared in the large public bathing area.

Breakfast is offered to all guests with dinner as an optional extra. Highly rated on booking.com and 30 seconds walk to the lifts Aburaya may just be the best place to stay in Madarao!

The BEST Location

We are located directly opposite the lift for Madarao Mountain Resort. You can jump on the lift or just ski down the hill to one of the other main lifts. The resort is a 10 second walk from our front door.

Western Rooms

We have western rooms & also western family rooms which have their own shower unit and air conditioner. Both types of room have a large loft space and their own private toilet.

Japanese Rooms

We have 3 kinds of Japanese style room. Japanese family rooms which are more spacious, Japanese loft rooms which have large loft areas and a Japanese western style room that has 2 western style beds. All rooms have tatami mats and futon style bedding as well as their own private toilet and wash basin.
